Faith Lutheran College, in the heart of Queensland’s Lockyer Valley, has long been recognised for its innovation and excellence in secondary education.
Now, that same award-winning approach is being extended into the primary years, giving families the opportunity to begin their child’s journey earlier, within a model already proven to deliver strong outcomes.
For Australian Defence Force families, this is a significant opportunity for their children’s education.
The rollout of the primary school will commence with Years 5 and 6 in 2027. Spaces are already filling quickly for these year levels and interested families are encouraged to apply to secure one of the remaining places.
Years 3 and 4 will follow from the beginning of 2028 and Prep to Year 2 will commence in 2029, repositioning Faith as a Prep to Year 12 school and providing families with a seamless educational experience for their children as they progress from primary to secondary.
The philosophy underpinning the College’s highly regarded secondary program flows directly into the primary school.
Learning is active, inquiry-based, and deeply relational – student wellbeing is central to Faith’s learning philosophy, as evidenced by dedicated student wellbeing leaders across all year levels.
Students are encouraged to question, explore, and create, developing not just academic capability, but confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging.
The physical environment reflects this approach. Flexible, light-filled spaces inspired by Reggio Emilia principles act as a “third teacher,” designed to spark curiosity and collaboration rather than passive learning.
Students will enjoy Faith’s established facilities including the College Farm, Science laboratories, Hospitality kitchens, Sports and Performing Arts facilities.
For families already considering Faith for secondary education, the message is simple: you don’t have to wait.
With demand for Year 7 places continuing to grow, enrolling in the primary years not only secures a pathway into the College but allows children to build relationships, confidence, and momentum from the very beginning.
