Plainland Crossing

in Transition
Plainland Crossing

The face of Plainland has changed enormously since the Plainland Crossing development commenced in 2015. Located in the heart of the Lockyer Valley adjacent to the Warrego Highway, Plainland Crossing is a masterplanned, multi-stage residential and commercial development, which will yield around 400 dwellings when complete, as well as a 12 hectare retail & commercial precinct located centrally within the Plainland Town Centre.

With convenient and safe access to the Warrego highway (East and Westbound), Plainland Crossing is located within an hour’s drive to Brisbane CBD, and within a 30 minute commute to more than 220,000 jobs.

The retail and commercial component of the estate is now completely sold out, with numerous national brands and local businesses now calling Plainland home. Retail brands such as Bunnings, Aldi, Supercheap Auto, and Choice Discount Store now complement the already established Woolworths Plainland Plaza, Plainland Travel Centre, Porters Plainland Hotel and Schulte’s Central. More national brand retailers are expected to be announced soon.

To keep up with demand, 40 new homesites have been released to the market in October by Plainland Crossing’s Sales Manager, Connor Bryan.

One important point of difference is the generous lot sizes and frontage widths on offer at Plainland Crossing, when compared with most other new estates in SEQ. “We offer typical lot sizes of 450m2 ( 15m wide) and 600m2+ (min 20m wide) with every new stage released” Connor said. “These wide frontages provide purchasers with good flexibility to select from a broad range of housing designs, with enough space left over for a decent backyard”.

All homesites are delivered fully benched & retained, NBN-ready and serviced with underground power, sewer, and water reticulation.

The estate boasts wide streets and good quality open space. In addition to the already complete Koffal Park, a new major park (Edgerton Park, almost 2 hectares in area) will be completed by Christmas 2023, plus another local Park to be delivered with the new stage release in early 2024.

Homesites at Plainland Crossing are affordably priced, with 450m2 lots priced from $259k and larger 600m2 lots priced from $285k. This represents outstanding value when compared with similar estates in South East Queensland, and is attracting strong interest from both owner-occupiers and investors. Rents of up to $700 per week are now being achieved, with demand out-stripping supply.

“It’s no wonder Plainland Crossing has seen such a significant increase in demand in recent years” said Mr Bryan. “Now that the town centre is established and the nearby schools continue to grow, the value proposition becomes quite clear – live on a large homesite for an affordable price, close to all services and amenities, and enjoy the friendly, semi-rural vibe that the Lockyer Valley is so well known for”.

To express interest or learn more, Connor welcomes interested parties to contact him at any time on 0418 747 035 or connor@plainlandcrossing.com.au , or to drop in to the Plainland Crossing Sales Office in Barcoo Drive.
